The daily stand-up as a conversation, with blockers and sprint at a glance.
ScrumBot is a prototype designed by BotiqueAI to show how a team could run its daily check-in without a meeting: each member answers a conversational assistant, and a dashboard summarises progress, blockers and the sprint. It is an interactive mock-up with sample data, not a product deployed at a client.
The daily stand-up loses value when it becomes a meeting where everyone waits their turn. Blockers get lost in the conversation and the Scrum Master has to reconstruct everything by hand.
The prototype’s idea: collect updates asynchronously and make blockers immediately visible.
The prototype is a single-page web app, navigable like a real product, illustrating the full journey of a team member and of the Scrum Master.
An assistant asks the questions (yesterday, today, blockers) in a chat interface, with a daily summary that fills in as answers arrive and the sprint task list.
Active members, completed stories, active blockers, estimated velocity, team statuses and ideal-vs-actual burndown.
A card per member with their status (submitted, in progress, blocked, pending) and a dedicated blockers view ranked by priority, with reminders for absentees.
Each day is kept with the number of participants, blockers and duration, to spot drift.
